Everything on this site is general in nature. It is not a diagnosis, not personal health advice, and not a substitute for seeing a doctor. Nothing here is a promise about what treatment will do for you — results differ from person to person, and any patient comments on this site describe one person’s experience.

Naturopathy is complementary care

Naturopathic treatment works alongside conventional medical care, not instead of it. I do not diagnose disease and I do not treat cancer or acute and emergency conditions. I will never ask you to stop medication prescribed by your doctor.

Tell your GP about any herbs or supplements I prescribe, and tell me about everything you are already taking so I can check for interactions.

Appointments

Fees are payable at the time of the consultation. Herbal medicine, supplements and any testing are charged separately and I will tell you the cost before prescribing.

Time beyond the booked consultation is charged at $15 per additional 10 minutes.

Cancellations

I ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Without it, the full fee is payable. If something genuinely unavoidable comes up, call me.

Your part

Treatment works considerably better when the history you give me is complete and honest, including anything you are embarrassed about. I have heard it before. If your circumstances change — a new medication, a pregnancy, a new diagnosis — tell me, because it may change what is safe to prescribe.
